Eric Hancock brings more than 25 years of experience in insurance, financial services, employee benefits, and agency leadership to INSight Partners, with a career built around a simple philosophy: educate people well, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional service.

Eric began his professional career as a teacher and coach before transitioning into financial services in 2000. He earned his Life and Health insurance license and completed the Series 7, Series 65, and Series 24 securities examinations. He began his career in the banking industry as a registered financial consultant before joining Prudential, where he served as a Midwest Agency Manager. In that role, he combined his background in education and coaching with financial services, recruiting, developing, and leading teams throughout the region.

In 2010, Eric took the entrepreneurial step of co-founding an independent insurance agency. Over the next 15 years, he helped build and operate the agency while continuing to work directly with clients as a producer. His experience spans employee benefits, Medicare, individual health insurance, and related insurance solutions. During that time, the agency grew to support approximately 25 agents, giving Eric extensive experience in both individual production and agency development.

Today, Eric brings that experience to INSight Partners, where his focus remains on helping individuals, families, employers, and fellow professionals better understand an increasingly complex healthcare and benefits environment. His background as an educator continues to influence the way he works with clients: making complex information understandable, helping people evaluate their options, and building relationships based on communication, service, and trust.

Eric is a third-generation native of Wahoo, Nebraska, and a graduate of Wahoo High School. He went on to play college football at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. His passion for coaching has continued throughout his adult life, with more than 30 years of involvement at the high school and club levels in football, baseball, and wrestling.

Community involvement has also been an important part of Eric’s life. He has served as Commander of the Sons of the American Legion in Wahoo and has been active with the Kiwanis Club All-Star Game, as well as other local organizations and community projects. He is also a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Most importantly, Eric and his wife, Traci, have been married for 28 years and are the proud parents of five children, ranging in age from 14 to 27. For Eric, his career has always been about more than building a business. It has been about creating opportunities for his family, serving his community, and using the skills he first developed as a teacher and coach to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
